Research, interpret, and apply the Texas Property Tax Code and Texas motor vehicle registration and titling laws and regulations to customer inquiries and daily tasks.Provide professional, courteous and timely customer service to Comal County taxpayers, mortgage companies, local businesses and Elected Officials.

Open and close the satellite office daily.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The Clerk IV (Satellite Office) will accurately input motor vehicle and property tax transactions monthly into the Texas Department of Motor Vehicle (TXDMV) Registration and Titling System (RTS) and the Automated Property Tax Collection System. Under the general supervision of the Executive Office Manager II, the Clerk IV (Satellite Office) will work in the satellite office and is responsible for the average daily collection, balancing, and depositing of over $8,500 in property taxes, vehicle registration, titling and other miscellaneous fees.
